Inauguration

I am Kathryn Mathis. I have worked in financial services most of my life, and I write too. I re-married in 2016 and I now have four stepchildren and two sons of my own. I thought of writing a blog a while back. My idea was to call it “Leap Before You Cook”. I was cooking so much for our large family that I was researching recipes and trying new things regularly. The problem was, with work, family, and cooking, I never found time to write the blog.

Fast forward a few years and the pressure has lightened. And, if you didn’t know, I actually wrote a book. Check out the website for more information. Anyway, stick with me and you may hear great stories about busy days, big families, and maybe a little cooking too. And, I will keep you posted on the next adventures of Alex and Luka (the characters in my book).
